Story
On Sunday 10th October, we will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for Mind charity.
For Katie it is not her first, as she has completed half marathons and full marathons with her most recent being the Liverpool Marathon in 2019. However for Bukki it is her first go at running a long distance and is stepping out of her comfort zone slightly with this. We both couldn’t pass up a chance to challenge ourselves and raise money for an amazing cause.
The work that Mind does is incredibly important in supporting and raising awareness of mental health! Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling.
The year of 2020 was a difficult one for most and impacted everyone in different ways, whether it be financially, physically or mentally. Mind is continually providing advice and resources to all who seek it throughout the pandemic. We hope that the money we raise will continue to ensure these services are available for all!
We are so excited and currently preparing and training for the big day. We appreciate any donations and support, a little can go a long way! (We know and understand that not everyone is able to to give at this time).
For every £5 donation please feel free to recommend a song for our race day playlist so we can appreciate your support all the way to the finish line 💜
