Story

Some of the team at Builth Wells Veterinary Practice decided to take on the challenge of a gruelling 26 mile trek in the beautiful surroundings of the Brecon Beacons.

The idea came from Sarah as her father has recently been diagnosed with Alzhemier's.  First hand exposure of the cruel disease and the emotional effects it has on not only the individual, but also close family and friends motivated Sarah to want to do something to help.

In chatting within the practice we learnt that Nicola sadly lost her mother to Alzhemier's disease so was also passionate about the cause and keen to join the team.  Eve, Laura and Karen wanted to support Sarah and take on the challenge too.  We are all committed to this great cause and really feel strongly about being able to contribute to valuable funding for research into helping to manage, treat and delay progression of Alzheimer's disease.

We are all so grateful for any donations we receive to help us reach our target.  Cash donations can also be made at the Practice.

Thank you for your support and wish us luck!
