A group of volunteers who started this project have the aim to fundraise towards a target of 60k to build an eco orphan home in Tanzania. The Eco Village consists of 14 homes that house 10 orphans. Each home has a mother who will offer support, love and care to the orphaned children.

Thus, after attending a charity dinner organised by these amazing volunteers, I was inspired by their incredible project and I have pledged to raise a sum of £5,000 to contribute towards this home.

The Children's Eco Village (CEV) is located in the Mkurunga district, just outside the capital Dar es Salaam and near the small town of Kisemvule.

The Eco Village ultimately aims to:
* Facilitate the children's growth in an empathic family setting that they need
* Provide a secure base for their physical, psychological and emotional growth
* Ensure their attendance at elementary school and support them to excel to higher standards
* Help the children acquire economic survival skills necessary for a productive life as an adult
* Provide holistic community-based care that supports them into becoming socially integrated adults in society.
