Story
On 17th August 2019 a group of 8 people from St Johns Church in Burscough are travelling to the city of Borisov in Belarus.
This year we are again working at the “Special School For Disabled Children” where we are demolishing an old play shelter, building a new shelter alongside the playground shown above, which we built last year, and hopefully refurbishing a gym that is used regularly by the disabled children who are cared for in this specially designated school.
We also plan to run a week-long holiday camp in one of the local orphanages for children aged 4-15 years, working alongside the local church.
We have so far raised over £8,500 towards this year’s project, but hope to reach our target of £10,000 so that all the planned work can be completed.
