Both myself and a friend are attempting to set a new 'Guinness World Record' as the 'FASTEST  HALF MARATHON IN A 2 PERSON PANTOMIME COSTUME' !!!

We will attempt this at the Great North Run 2022, starting at approx 10:40am. The attempt must be completed with both runners staying within the costume throughout the duration of the 13.1 miles and will be recorded all the way throughout the route for validation purposes.

The record currently stands at 1hr 42mins 47 secs which was set in 2016 in the United States and ideally, we would like to bring this record to the UK.

We are completing this to raise some much needed funds for the Fire Fighter's Charity in order for them to continue with the life saving support they offer. Not only does the Fire Fighter's Charity help serving Fire Fighters during their demanding role, but it plays many active parts, even once Fire Fighters have retired and helping with  families of Fire Fighters, whether this is mental, physical or wellbeing support.

£9million is needed each year to help support everyone that requires help through this charity>This is why I would like to play my part and raise a few pounds for this worth while cause.
