Story

BTHFT Radiology 3 peaks team are supporting BTHFT Charity and continuing to raise funds to make further improvements to our department and enhance the patient experience when visiting radiology.

We provide imaging for the all patients seen in  Bradford at BRI and St Luke's hospitals. The majority of people who visit hospital require imaging as part of their car

Patients visit e our department for x-rays in the Accident and Emergency Department,  ultrasound scans , and more complex studies with CT, MRI and isotope studies.

We are aiming to improve the facilities in all our departments. We would like to improve the waiting room facilities in radiology at BRI and SLH to improve the experience for all.

A team of staff from the department are taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on 22nd September 2021 to raise funds for this work. Please support our efforts and help us to improve our facilities.

We are the official NHS charity partner of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As an NHS charity, we follow the strategic direction of our Trust, funding equipment, training, research and projects which enhance the experience, treatment and care of patients and their families. At Bradford Hospitals Charity, we believe there's always more we can do for our patients and their families. Whether that is providing equipment which is not routinely funded by the NHS, but which speeds up diagnosis, upgrading a piece of kit to make patients more comfortable, funding training which improves staff knowledge, or buying toys and distraction equipment for our young patients to help them cope in hospital we provide over and above, helping our Trust save lives and ensure patients have the best possible experience. We are grateful to each and everyone of you for taking part in the Three Peak Challenge. Good Luck and above all enjoy. Thank you
