Simple story really. A good friend of mine lost her 14 year old daughter, Hannah on a tragic family camping trip in May 2012.

Being an unfit old git I knew I wanted to try and do something worthwhile and suddenly had an epiphany after learning of this tragedy.

Long story short, 6 hardy souls under the banner of Central Contracts C2C for CAFT, ( some say fool hardy) are intending to complete the tough Coast to Coast  (C2C) cycle ride in May 2014.

This 140 mile adventure is over some very tough and hilly terrain as it crosses from Whitehaven on the West coast of Cumbria to finish by dipping our bike wheels in the waters off Sunderland on the East coast.

A very ambitious 2 1/2 days have been allowed for us to complete this adventure, especially when some of us did not even own a bike a few weeks ago.

Now the bottom line.....We want your money and support, in fact if truth be known, sod your support and just give us your money!!!!.

By the way, one of the 6 riders is my friend Danielle who is also the mother of the young lady Hannah that was so tragically lost, and is the reason we are attempting this trip.

All money is going to CAFT a fantastic charity that was very special to Hannah, and also holds very special thoughts to for Danielle.
