Story
1 in 123 people in the UK suffer with Crohns disease. There is currently no known cure and can greatly impact quality of life.
Most of you will know my beautiful mum had a horrendous year last year. She has suffered with crohns for many years but last year had a terrible flare up, causing a lot of worry, numerous tests, exciting plans cancelled and lots of bed rest. She was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and luckily now has a new treatment plan in place now that seems to be working well. Crohns and Colitis charity supported my mum and so this year they are my chosen charity to run for 💜
Great north run is the worlds biggest half marathon (televised 😏) and I am very lucky to be able to run for this amazing charity.
Please give what you can and wish me luck.
