My friend Lee and I have signed ourselves up to take part in the Fireball Rally. We have accepted the challenge of buying a £550 26 year old Ford Probe to drive from our home in Hull through 8 European countries including France,Monaco, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Germany and Belgium.

So far we have had to replace the radiator, deal with a blown head gasket and sort out rust and shoddy paint work. This is before we have even set off so the odds are against us. Neither of us know have any mechanical experience and don't know the difference between an exhaust manifold to a track rod end.

We will be doing this trip entirely in fancy dress and will be posting pics on our Facebook page. The Fireball Rally also has a Facebook page so please take a look.

Lee is raising money for a dyslexia charity which is close to his heart.

I have decided to try and raise a bit for something which has and still is effecting me. Many people will know my own personal story with PTSD and I am sure that someone else that I know will also be effected by it either now or in the future.
