Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page....again!

So after completing various charity events over the last couple of years, sustaining some pretty painful injuries and already raising over £20,000 courtesey of some very generous friends, family and work colleauges, Ive decided to really lay down a challenge and that is to raise £50,000 for a charity that is very close to my heart.

No matter how long it takes, I will happily put my body through whatever is thrown at it in order to raise the money that is required to support truly ground breaking research in an area that will have a direct and positive impact on my family.

As an update for this years events we are going to carry on from the success of my eldest son's triathalon from last year and will be doing it again!

This is now my 5th year into this journey to raise £50k and I have so far competed in the following:

Over 50 triathalons

Various Cycle races leading to qualification to represent Great Britain at World Cycling Championships

The Mega Avalanche X3

IRONMAN UK 70.3

IRONMAN UK

Various Endurance based MTB events

I will continue to confirm my list of events via the update section of this page:

The St Mark's hopsital foundation is the only charity that supports the work of St Marks Hospital in Harrow. Set up to fund what the NHS can not, the money that is raised from the general public goes to ensure vital research, education and training goes ahead each year, keeping St Marks at the very pinnace of success.

I personally have a debt of gratitude to a person that I can simply describe as my hero and a prime example of what a medical professional should be like, Dr Simon Gabe. Dr Gabe is part of a team of physicians, surgeons and nurses that take the time to understand that hospital is a scary place to be for most people and as a result, go out of their way to make sure the experience is as good as it can be under the circumstances.

As this charity has so much personal meaning to myself and my family, I would be really grateful if you can sponsor me and help me raise as much as I possibly can for such a worthy cause..Even if its only £1, it all goes towards my target.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So its the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity

So please dig deep and donate now for such a worthy cause.

Many thanks in advance for your continued support as always and for those of you that have already sponsored me (in many instances on multiple occasions) you guys are awesome!
