Story

Thankyou for visiting my Just Giving Page...

Last year, after successfully jumping out of a plane with my team of crazy friends and family, we became the biggest group to jump out of a plane for our chosen charity Bliss and raised thousands of pounds in the process. This year, Ive decided to swap my downhill bike for some swimming goggles, some very tight lyrca  (which is perfect for a 17st man!) and glow in the dark running shoes.

September will be the month of triathalons! Following the HSBC olympic distance "warm up" triathalon, I will be taking part in the London Triathalon a week later on the 23rd Sept. I will be raising funds for a charity and hospital that has quite frankly changed my family's lfe for the better and will always be indebted too.

The St Mark's Hospital Foundation is the only charity that supports the work of St.Marks Hospital in Harrow.. Set up to fund what the NHS cant, the money that is raised from the general public goes to ensure vital research, education and training goes ahead each year, keeping St marks at the very pinnacle of success..

I personally have a debt of gratitude to a person that I can simply describe as my hero and a prime example of what a medical professional should be like, Dr Simon Gabe. Dr Gabe is part of a team of physicians, surgeons and nurses that take the time to understand that hospital is a scary place to be for most people and as a result, go out of their way to make sure the experience is as good as it can be under the circumstances.

Not only will I be raising funds with Dr Gabe, but I shall also be competing in the event with him, so in the event that my body decides to give up on me, he will at least be there to fix me!

As this charity has so much personal meaning to myself and my family I would be really grateful if you can sponsor me and help me raise as much as I possibly can for such a worthy cause
