I have set myself this challenge to keep busy and what better way to do so when I can also support a charity close to my heart.

Those of you that knew Bruce had the honor of meeting a kind, generous, funny, clever person. Bruce will be remembered for his infectious sense of humor which brought tears of laughter to us all.

During surgery and treatments he faced these tough times with an attitude of mind over matter and remained determined to fight, sadly even with all his strength Bruce lost his battle to kidney cancer.

The team at The Christie, the Professor, nurses and support staff made things that bit easier and Bruce was always thankful to them.

The immunotherapy treatments Bruce underwent are still being developed and funds raised should hopefully help to facilitate this research.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all family, friends and colleagues, for generous funeral donations and kind words during what is a very difficult time for us all.
