Story
Thank you all for your donations you lovely people. You all deserve a jolly nice cricket clap.
I ran the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign Oxford Town & Gown 10k in 51.39mins.
As I sat up with the elf on Saturday night sharing the latest plague that he'd brought back from nursery I thought it might be a no show. But I couldn't let you lot down could I? I thought I'd just amble around then had a sudden rush of competitiveness on the start line. OK, so I was beaten by a fluffy crocodile and nearly drowned on my own snot but I'll take under an hour gladly. A big shout out to my sister Amanda for roping me in and who, along with my niece A.J., completed the course with no training and to A.J.'s fella James, who also managed under an hour. I gave my race medal to the elf and told him I got it for blowing up a Death Star! He wore it for the rest of the day.
So a big thanks to you all. Bath Half anyone? See me after class...
