I am writing to ask if you would be willing to support a charity event I am organising. I am doing this on behalf of The Children’s Society and we are holding an event in aid of The Runaway Campaign on the 28 July. The Children’s Society’s Make Runaways Safe Campaign is asking the government to introduce an action plan for runaways today. Each year over 100,000 children run away from home. Many are fleeing conflict, neglect, bullying or abuse. All are at risk of being exploited for sex, exposed to crime, violence, alcohol and drugs
