The Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon, 14 May 2023
Raising funds to purchase specialist medical equipment and enhance our unit to give parents a relaxing and welcoming environment whilst remaining close to their baby.

Story

On 14th December 2022 a little soldier was born when Claudia and Sam welcomed to the world my gorgeous Nephew Vincenzo months earlier than expected.

I cannot begin to imagine myself what the days, weeks and months ahead were like for them but what I do know, is, the neonatal unit at Frimley Hospital supported Claudia, Sam and little Vincenzo on a road to recovery allowing them to finally take their little soldier home. In honour of the amazing care and support they gave to those close to my heart I would like to give back to them.

On 14th May I will be running the Lexicon Bracknell Half Marathon, my first half marathon but I am confident raising money for this cause will only drive me to do the best I can and finish in good time! I would love if you can support me but most importantly support this amazing charity by donating any amount, big or small to enable the best possible care and to help other families and premature babies get all the support they need during their time on the ward.

Thank you so much for your support! 💙

little Stars aim is to deliver family centered care and encourage parents to be involved in all aspects of their babies care during their stay on the ward. We need your support to enable us to support all members of a family during their time on the ward. A more comfortable bedside chair doesn't sound much but it makes a massive difference to a parent spending many hours sitting with their baby.
