Our outreach work includes a travelling creative programme for the older community living in residential accommodation and Eastgate on the Road, a programme which takes creative performances and opportunities to rural communities around Tweeddale.

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page and helping us raise money for the Eastgate Theatre's Community Outreach Project.

Held on Sunday the 25th August the Eastgate take's to the floor for a second celebrating local dance, held in the wonderful surroundings of the Peebles Hydro Ballroom. The main events sees us perform as a couple in a Strictly style dance competition with a judging panel and voting system, while there will also be other performances from local dance groups, plus live music from the local jazz band and a chance to strut your stuff on the dance floor.

All funds raised from this page, plus votes and raffle tickets on the night, will go directly to the Eastgate Theatre's Community Outreach Programme which include a travelling creative programme for the older community living in residential accommodation, as well as Eastgate on the Road, which takes creative performances and opportunities to rural communities in Tweeddale. The money raised fro  this event will help us expand and develop this valuable outreach work over the long term.
