Story

I'm running the Great North Run in September 2023 with Erin to raise money for Dementia UK!

As many of you will know, our Grandma (Carole) has recently been diagnosed with dementia, and needs a lot of help with things she is gradually finding more difficult. We are hugely fortunate that private care is an option for her, and we are all acutely aware that not everyone is able to access and fund this support.

Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nurse charity. Their nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them.

Any donations, shares, running buddies that don't mind moving very slowly and intermittently are welcomed and appreciated!

THANK YOU for donating and supporting and all that jazz,

Bronte

(I won't be connecting to Strava or anything but the proof is in the pudding - catch me running a half marathon in September 2023!)
