Story
I am taking part in DLA Piper's UNICEF Global Challenge in October 2015 along with 45 of my colleagues from around the world.
The challenge will see me my swap my Louboutins for hiking boots in an attempt to trek across the Simien Moutains, Ethiopia, at altitude and across tough terrain. I will brave subzero nights and try to avoid attack from wild vicious baboon clans in order to raise funds for a cause I'm very passionate about.
Our Finanical Challenge: to raise a whooping £185,000 (close to $390,000AUD) to support UNICEF's child justice programme.
Our Physical Challenge: to reach the top of Mt Bwahit, which peaks at 4,450m
Your donation: will help support UNICEF's efforts to protect the rights of children that come into contact with the law, whether as victims, witnesses or offenders.
Those of you who know me well will undoutably agree that I am the kind of girl who enjoys the finer things in life - think freshly, shuckled oysters, French champagne, a fresh blow wave, Prada handbags and fast cars.
Those of you who know me really well will know that I also have quite the adventurous streak. Having spent my younger years chasing surf breaks and backpacking around the world, you will know that this is exactly the kind of challenge I thrive on.
In exchange for your much appreciated funds, I promise to keep you updated along my journey. It goes without saying that it will entertain....
