Story

The Boxer rescue service southern is just one of many rescues that give Boxer dogs from any walk of life another chance and who wouldn't want to? . Many breeds are loyal and loving but theres something about Boxer dogs .....the eyes , the behaviour, the uncontrollable body wag when you come home that just tells you...they love you as much if not more than you love them ...it saddens me to read of so many being abandoned due to poor health, poor training, or just plain and simple ignorance. No animal deserves abandonment so as a Boxer owner and lover I have decided to give my support to those who make a difference to the lives of unwanted unloved boxers and by doing my bit I hope you find it in your hearts to help by donating this fundraising event where on the 1st of January 2018 at midday with no wet suit just shorts and a tee shirt I shall plunge into the North Sea at Viking Bay Broadstairs where I have no doubt the waters will be ...lets just call it very cold .....please come and watch or even feel free to join me in order to help raise funds for this well deserving organisation.

best regards

Peter

About the charity

Our charity exists to alleviate suffering and distress to dogs, and in particular to the breed known as Boxers. We were formed in the early 1970's to rehome Boxer dogs and became a registered charity in 1986. We are independent from any breed club or any other rescue organisation and operate mainly in Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Boxers come to us for a variety of reasons: breakdown in marriages/partnerships, owner's Illness or other changes in family circumstances, some dogs have been abused or neglected, and some are simply no longer wanted. All of our dogs are fully vaccinated, neutered and microchiped before being settled into a new and loving home which has been previously checked by us and found to be suitable. Our goal is to quickly find our dogs new and happy homes where they will be wanted and loved.
