In 2016, a dear friend of mine and fellow Sewanee grad asked me to get involved in CHRIS 180, an organization that serves youth experiencing homelessness. At the time, I just wanted to support a friend and get involved in the Atlanta community.

Five years later, I am fully committed as Chair of their Emerging Leaders Network. Partly because I can't say no, but primarily because I want to help kids in any way I can. Traditionally, we host an annual fundraiser centered around Masters weekend complete with a viewing party, silent auction and games. Things look a little different this year, but we're not giving up.

Over the next three weeks, Andrew and I will be competing in a golf tournament, running 4.4 miles and soliciting your support via social media to meet my personal fundraising goal of $2,500.
