Help me reach my personal goal of providing 20 opioid overdose rescue kits to Greater Worcester community members at risk of experiencing or witnessing an overdose.
Every $100 raised will provide one kit, equipped with two 4 mg doses of intranasal naloxone, a pocket mask, and resource card.

OUR TEAM is a dynamic group of community members, medical students, and physicians who share a unified vision to eradicate overdoses.
OUR MISSION is to broaden the scope of overdose care by disseminating educational resources on overdose prevention and providing accessible clinical care treatment for substance use disorder.
We provide visionary CLINICAL CARE:
- Our Mobile Addiction Unit will increase health care accessibility for underserved populations. Launching in early 2021, the unit will provide primary health care, sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening, vaccinations, naloxone kits, syringe exchange, and medications for addiction treatment.
- The Medication Disposal Box Initiative helps remove unused medications from the community. Since 2018, we've collected over 600 pounds of unwanted medication.
- Our upcoming Leave Behind Naloxone Program will allow paramedics to distribute naloxone kits at the site of an overdose.
and EDUCATION:
- The Poison Prevention Educational Program teaches school-aged children about the dangers of poisonous substances.
- The Medical Student Research Assistantships inspire the next generation of physicians who are eager to learn more about addiction medicine.
- The Video Demonstration Series contains educational videos on naloxone use, rescue breathing, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) that increase accessibility and awareness of these life-saving techniques. Watch them here (in English and Spanish): https://umasstox.com/narcan/
SUPPORT OUR WORK! Contributions from our generous donors support the life-saving ideas we are putting into action.
- A 10 dollar donation provides a pocket mask and resources to someone with an opioid use disorder.
- A 50-100 dollar donation purchases a life-saving naloxone kit to put into the hands of family or friends of someone at risk for overdose.
- A 250 dollar donation allows our mobile addiction team to be out on the road for an additional hour
- A 2500 dollar donation lets a medical student spend a summer working on overdose prevention care.
- Larger donations help us create novel programs and dedicate physician time to these efforts.
- Memorial and tribute donations are always welcome.
