Story
As you are here you probably know something about the Greenfingers Charity - the amazing charity that has been creating gardens up and down the country for children in hospices. They've been doing this for nearly 25 years and millions of people have benefitted from the gardens..... Children, parents, brothers & sisters, grandparents and friends, carers and the support teams... All of them make use of the gardens at one time or another.
Play, therapy, exercise, tranquillity, solitude... each garden gives so much, to so many.
Tring Garden Centre is delighted to host the annual Garden Re-Leaf Day walk in 2023. It starts on Friday, March 24th, and hopefully finishes on the same day!! Over 100 people are expected to join the 20-mile walk - you can come and join us as well as the walk is open to everyone. Find out more here https://www.greenfingerscharity.org.uk/activities/29/garden-re-leaf-day-2023
We couldn't just host the walk, a team of us have decided to take part. If you know any of us, you will know we are not natural walkers so 20 miles is going to be a real challenge. To be totally honest, we haven't really done any training for this 😒
Can you spur us on with a donation? Our aim is to raise £1,200 for Greenfingers as that will really make a difference to the next garden. If we know that every mile walked has raised £50 we will be so motivated.... we might even skip the last mile (oops! think we meant metre!!)
Giving through Justgiving is so easy, just click.
Thank you, Amy, John, Iain, Andy and Steve - who will be taking on the longer cycle challenge that day.
