Anyone who knows me, Hannah Quinn or our lovely friend Kerry-Anne may think this page has been created by an unlocked smartphone and a lucky palm. Not so. Believe it people, WE ARE RUNNING (ish)!
HQ and I were so moved by the amazing effort of the Natterjackers last September, we decided to give ourselves a challenge (and roped in Kerry-Anne). So, in October, we spent an outrageous amount of money on some 'proper' trainers and gingerly set to it.
No records will be set, it won't be pretty and our main objective is just to get round! But if ever there was an organisation that inspires this kind of ridiculousness, it's the Walton...
The Walton Centre in Liverpool offers a world class neuroscience service which includes many pioneering techniques, cutting edge treatments; and clinicians who are international leaders in their field. Over 100,000 patients are treated at the hospital each year with conditions ranging from head and spinal trauma injuries; brain and spine tumours; Epilipsy, MS, Motor Neurone Disease and Parkinson.The Charity funds a variety of projects in the hospital including research, innovation, new technology and patient & family facilities.
