Bristol Ultimate - Race To Bruges · 27 April 2020

Bristol's local charities, community and voluntary groups are crying out for funding so they can help people through the coronavirus crisis and beyond. Your donation will help frontline charities give support to the most vulnerable people. Thank you!

Story

The Event:

Bristol Ultimate was due to take two teams to a tournament in Bruges this summer, but the virus caused the event to be cancelled. So we've decided to have our own club competition. Bristol Women and Bristol Open teams will go head to head. The distance of 584 miles will be collectively ran/walked by members of each team during their once per day exercise outing.

The Charity:

Our area has over 3,500 charities and thousands more community and voluntary groups. They're amazing at supporting disadvantaged people and helping communities fulfil their ambitions. But most run on tiny budgets and have no fundraising teams to tell you about their work and ask for your donations. That's where Quartet Community Foundation comes in. For more than 30 years we've been finding and giving grants to small local charitable organisations. We've given over £50 million so far thanks to generous donors like you.
