The Bristol Children's Hospital PICU (Paediatric Intensive Care Unit) is the section of the hospital that provides sick children with the highest level of medical care. With other PICU wards across the country being repurposed for Covid-19 adult care, they are set to see unprecedented demand in the weeks & months ahead. Staff will be under huge pressure with limited resources. There will be more children & their families needing support, with an increasing number travelling from outside the region. They need our help.

To support their efforts, I'll be hosting some weekly fundraising fun to bring children together over zoom - this gives us all something positive to contribute to whilst at home with our families. Each week will be a different event & I'd love everyone to get involved with crafty fun / bake-offs / 2k in the back garden / lego competitions / shared story time... and more!

Whether or not you wish to take part, please show your support by giving a small donation each week.. or as much as you can upfront! :)

If I don't know you, I may then ask for you to connect with me on Facebook to ensure safeguarded access to this group. I'll then add you to a WhatsApp group, where I'll be posting the zoom link & planned activities for each week (you can mute the group if you don't need additional noise!). The zoom will be held at 11am each Friday. 

Money from JustGiving usually reaches The Grand Appeal every week so as soon as they have it in the bank they can start using it to support these services. The charity has confirmed that this fundraising activity will specifically be allocated to the PICU unit.
