Story

Brigid and Louise are running the Bupa Great Winter Run to raise money for SANDS in memory of Kajsa Jolan Micski who, sadly, we did not get to meet or share our lives with.

SANDS is a UK charity which offers support to those devasted by the loss of a baby, before, during or after birth. They also work with research organisations to research the risk factors and causes of stillbirth and neonatal death, to ensure as few as possible parents experience the pain and grief which follows a baby's death.

For those of you who haven't seen us in action, we CANNOT (yet) be exactly described as top athletes. This is our first ever run, so of course we have chosen a hilly 5km in the depths of winter. To this end, we welcome your donations - however small (or big!) - which will help us to reach our target of £250.

Thank you for visiting our page, and feel free to come cheer us on and throw warm buns / Gregg's pasties at us if we look like we're flagging.

Cheers,

Brigid and Lou
