Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes, and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary facing up to it, but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. After Covid-19, dementia was the leading cause of death in the UK in 2020. We owe it to the 900,000 people across the country currently living with dementia, and their families, to spearhead a campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support now. Mum has mixed dementia and it is progressing fast, we desperately need more services for dementia patients, there is nothing currently out there that can help my mum as she lives in an area that is not covered by any of the local services.

There are so many people living with dementia that are isolated and have no support. With your help we can provide better support to those with dementia and better research to help find a way to slow down the effects so that people with dementia can lead better lives.
