Story

During the month of May 2016 the Staff at Bridlington Specsavers are intending to carry out various fund raising events on behalf of Motor Neurone Disease Association. We are doing this because of our long-standing colleague, Jacqueline Fairbairn, who has been diagnosed with this debilitating disease. All of use here at Specsavers are very proud of the way in which Jackie is coping with the situation she finds herself in and admire her resolve to carry on working for as long as she is able to do so, which has recently been aided by the provision to her on 22nd March 2016, of a wheelchair by the local MND Association.

During May 2016 we will be doing 10K run, Static Bike Ride, Bun stalls, Raffle, plus much more to come!

All the money we raise we aim to give to the Scarborough and Bridlington MND Group which is run entirely by volunteers and helps people in the local area.
