Story
Over 12 days in May and June this year, a team of Barclays Commercial staff will be raising money for the charity ‘Children’s Hospice’s UK’ by cycling from John O’Groats to Lands End. This event is also being supported in a host of fundraising and volunteering events by Barclays Commercial colleagues across the UK in an attempt to raise as much money as possible for the 42 nationwide hospices that support life-limited children in the UK.
Chidrens Hospice’s UK is a national charity that supports all 42 children's hospices across the UK which in turn provide support to some 25,000 children and their families. Their vision is for every child who is not expected to reach adulthood and their family to have access to the highest standards of children's hospice care and support close to home.
We’d love you to be involved in working with us to support this charity, our goal for the North East is to raise as much as possible. Would you be able to help us fundraising ? Myself and two members of my team Jayne Dickens and Julian Batson are cycling 2 legs of a 12 leg challenge totalling 172 miles each from Fenwick to Lancaster via Gretna.
Its all for a good cause, why not take a look http://www.lifecycle-uk.net
