My Name is Brian Coombs. After 32 years of selling poppies at Charing Cross Station its time to call it a day and this will be my very last year. I want to make it my best yet.

On behalf of the Royal British Legion we would like to thank Brian for his incredible dedication to the Poppy Appeal over the last 30 years. It’s thanks to dedicated Poppy Appeal collectors like Brian that we can continue our much needed work supporting serving personnel, veterans and their families from the moment they join the military community. In his time collecting for the Poppy Appeal Brian has raised over £750,000 and is looking to get this number up to £1M. This money goes towards funding our services by helping those people the RBL supports find new careers, get out of debt, modify their home if sick or injured, access rehabilitation support, access grants for further education and funds our Admiral Nursing teams. Thank you Brian for your commitment to the Poppy Appeal for the past 30 years - and thank you to everyone who donates to help Brian reach his £1M target.
