We are cycling on Saturday, 10th September (Carole's birthday!) to take part in Friends of Essex Churches 'Ride and Stride' event. Friends of Essex Churches Trust, who will send back to us half of the money we raise. In All Saints Church, Great Oakley, we are part way through an ambitious and exciting project to improve the church, to make it more relevant and accessible and to try to ensure its survival long into the future.  The focus this year is on updating the heating and lighting, to make the church more comfortable and energy efficient.
