Event: Trek26 Stonehenge - 13 miles, on 12 September 2020
Explore historic landscape dominated by the world-famous stone circle of Stonehenge. Take on the challenge surrounded by people who are trekking for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure

Story

I will be trekking 13 miles over truly beautiful and historic countryside, finishing at Hudson's Field, Salisbury. The Trek will take us past the 13th century cathedral, over water meadows, high ridges and quiet woodlands and past the world famous stone circle of Stonehenge. I will be Trekking in memory of loved ones (Alan Ashforth, Michael Stocks & Barbara Gillingwater) and helping those living with dementia, their care partners and families. I am also supporting two new major initiatives - CONNECT & COMPANION CALLS. oh yes and to raise some money so together we can find a cure, support people with dementia to live well in their communities, enabling them to continue doing everyday things that we all take for granted and to contribute to the growing number of Dementia Friendly Communities. Come and join Team Penguins and enjoy more fun and camaraderie, breakfast before, plenty to drink, ample toilets and celebrations after. Finally, I shall be Nordic Walking the Trek.
