Story

While staying at home during the COVID-19 epidemic, I have been exercising in the garage on my indoor rowing machine.  I wanted to give myself a challenge and so thought I would row a marathon!

Three years ago when I was 80, my time was 3 hours 31 minutes. On completion I thought never again!  However, I believe that I can amalgamate my efforts by fundraising for South Devon's Rowcroft Hospice. So on May 1st I hope to complete the distance in 3 hours 45 minutes. Please donate generously because sitting on a rowing machine for hours looking at a garage door is not fun!

Rowcroft cares for over 2000 patients a year across South Devon and is currently working day and night to ensure patients and their loved ones are getting the best care possible.
