I am 59 year old grandfather with 5 children and 2 grandchildren and travelled extensively throughout Africa. I have always believed that clean water is the most important and precious gift you can give to African children!

When I found the website of the Lawrence's Roundabout Well Appeal I was very touched by the story and the great idea of helping other children in the world.

I will go on an expedition with 13 other people to trek 300 miles in the Skeleton Coast in Namibie, which has never been done before. It will take us 21 days and we will have no support! Once we are in the desert the only way out is 300 miles north. Please have a look at the website skeletoncoastexpediton.co.uk.

I am paying for the whole expedition cost myself! None of the money donated will go towards the trip, everything will go straight to the Well Appeal.

I will be Walking for Water, you can help me by paing me so much per mile, it doesn't matter how little!
