Story
Join me as I support my local Child Advocacy Center (CAC). Beards for Bucks is a fun and exciting fundraiser where law enforcement officers are allowed to grow facial hair for the month of October to support their local CAC. I depend on the generosity of the community to make a donation to support my effort and the CAC.
Helping child victims of physical and sexual abuse and their families requires an approach that addresses the physical, emotional and legal dimensions of abuse. And it requires a coordinated victim centered response from expert professionals to reduce stress throughout the investigation and intervention process. Child Advocacy Centers work in partnership with all the necessary agencies and specialists to coordinate a plan of action to provide high-quality, specialized services for abused children and their families to heal, survive and thrive.
