We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Type 1 diabetes can bring with it a long list of complications, the one which scares me the most is diabetic retinopathy. The thought of losing my vision really does frighten me. This is what has motivated me to want to run for this charity.

Some of my friends on Twitter live with this condition, as well as other very serious eye conditions not related to diabetes. These people inspire me on a daily basis, and it is in their honour I want to raise funds for this great charity.

Any amount you can spare to help me on my journey towards my first ever marathon would be very much appreciated.
