Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Justgiving page,
We (Bri, Liam & Sarah) are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Trek, 3 peaks, 24miles, 12 hours, in memory of our beloved Angie who was sadly taken so prematurely from us by this most devastating disease.
While this will be a really tough challenge for at least one team member, it pales into insignificance when you compare it to that of Angie and many others, who have or will have those immortal words uttered to them "sorry you have motor neurone disease and unfortunately, there is no cure".
Angie was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in April 2019 and sadly but bravely passed away all too quickly on the 29th October 2021, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of all those who had the good fortune to know or meet her. While living with this terrible disease and those immortal words, Angie tried and succeeded to live life to the full, remaining positive and wickedly funny, throughout.
The narrative for this hideous disease needs to change, with further research, the cause and a cure can be found. However, research costs money and for that reason we are asking for your support to help raise much needed funds for MNDA. Every contribution will be gratefully received no matter how small or big, every penny counts in the fight against MND.
Thank you
Bri, Liam & Sarah
