Story
Last year thanks to the support of friends and family I raised €900 for the Irish Cancer Society by running in the Cork City marathon. I was motivated to do this following the death of my father to cancer. Like many others I have lost family and friends to this horrible disease and would like to fight back in whatever way I can to try and help tackle Cancer in all its forms. My chosen charity is the Irish Cancer society. I plan to run 4 marathons in the coming months starting with the Cork City Marathon in June, Dublin Marathon in October and finally London in April 2016. I am also going to run a full marathon around the Bweeng Community walkway which will be approximately 62 laps.
Update,
I have now completed Cork, Bweeng and Dublin sections of my 4 marathons. London coming next on April 24th.
As of the 12th of April I have met my Irish Cancer society target of €3405 and the surplus of €126.83 I am now carrying forward to Marymount Hospice.
