Brewin Dolphin Belfast and Dublin offices have teamed up to take on an accumulative mileage challenge, via run walk and cycle, aiming to cover 3,440km over the course of 7 days.
Brewin Dolphin Belfast have decided to support local charity AWARE because we believe that now, more than ever, people are struggling with their mental health. There is so much uncertainty in the world right now with working from home, the lockdown and quarantine measures in place and restrictions on travel, not to mention the real health concerns many face. People are finding themselves unable to spend time with their loved ones, family, friends and colleagues, and are spending much more time alone. All of this is taking a heavy toll on mental health and wellbeing which is why we at Brewin believe that the work at AWARE is so important. The desire to contribute to the drive to raise awareness of depression and bipolar disorders and the provision of the skills to address these issues will push each of us individually to achieve and
exceed our distance targets as we work together in support of this excellent work. We hope the funds raised will go a small way towards enhancing the already extensive list of programmes which they deliver to communities, schools, colleges, universities and workplaces.
