Story
In July 2024, ten of the 'Brewer clan' are taking on the 26 mile Mighty Hike in the stunning Gower Peninsula to raise money for people living with cancer. We do this in memory of Pauline Brewer, our much-loved and missed Mum (and Nan), who finally lost her courageous battle with cancer in December 2022 and also for friends and family who are currently dealing with the effects of cancer and continue to need support, treatment, love and care.
We have pledged to raise £2500 for Macmillan Cancer Support as a family team through this JustGiving page and would really appreciate your support in reaching this target. Macmillan are a renowned, trusted charity that provide fantastic cancer support services to over a million people every year, including Macmillan nurses, their phone support line and their online support community, and they need ongoing donations from the general public to keep these much-needed services running. By fundraising this amount, we could, for example, pay for 10 Macmillan Support Workers for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
Our 'Brewer's Troop' team consists of:
- Simon & Donna Brewer
- Sarah & Steve Probert
- Eliza Brewer
- Becca Brewer
- Oli Brewer
- Tam Probert
- Sarah Lancaster
- Cieran Sutor
