Story
My name is Brendan Lawlor and this is my story. When I was born I was treated at Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin and the incredible staff saved my life. During the early stages of my life I spent many hours, days and weeks in the Crumlin hospital trying to get better. If it wasn't for the incredible staff I wouldn't be here today.
I turn 24 on the 13th March and I wanted to show my appreciation for what the hospital and staff have done for me and my family throughout the years and also to help children and people who might be having a really tough time at the minute.
I've been stuck inside like many people for months in lockdown and it got me thinking about what I could do to raise vital funds and I came up with the walking 10km a day for 10 days challenge which I also want to encourage people to get out and do it virtually with me.
