Due to the coronavirus pandemic Friend In Need has had to close many of the services that it runs. Instead it has set up a Covid-19 Community Response Team to cater for the escalating needs of the elderly and others who are required to self-isolate, by providing practical and emotional support. Friend In Need has been serving the Barnet community for over 35 years, but the financial difficulties caused by austerity have caught up with it, causing it to become a Friend who is In Need of help itself. The money raised will enable FIN to continue to meet the needs of existing and future clients and expand services as need becomes apparent.
