I'm fundraising for The MS Society because I know many people with  this terrible disease. My friend Elaine has been immobilised by MS and recently had to spend 6 months in hospital waiting for our city council to provide home carers. I'm running The Great North Run Half Marathon in the year we will both turn 40 because I can and Elaine can't!
