Story

We were lucky to have Brenda, Mum, Bibi, as a Wife, Mum and Grandmother. For her whole life she loved children, from the time she spent as a live-in carer in Nottingham’s children’s homes, to her delight in being a godparent, aunt, then mother and grandmother. She could watch children play and communicate all day, endlessly absorbed in their development, and always on their side.

She loved her volunteering with the Nottingham National Deaf Children’s Society, sharing storybooks with children in their homes and at school, and arranging holidays for those families that could not otherwise afford to take their children away.

We would love to see her remembered for her love of children through support for the National Deaf Children’s Society.

Thank you,

Terry, Deborah, Ben and Lucy, Jacob, Ruby and Seth, and Pippa and Matthew.
