Story

In August 2025, both Angus Liston & Jamie Donaldson, The Breathless Natives, have challenged themselves to take on the Rob Roy Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

Jamie’s dad, Iain, passed away from cancer at the end of 2022 at the age of 62 after a short, but very brave battle.

Angus' Grandmother Maureen, after battling cancer over the course of 3 years, sadly passed away in the Spring of 2024, at the age of 84.

We are also aware of countless friends and family who have had loved ones affected by cancer and we now feel able to raise funds and take part in the Mighty Hike.

We would be so grateful if you could help us reach our £500 pledge, which can pay for a Macmillan Nurse for two days. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.

Thank you! Jamie & Angus
