Story
7 yoga teachers are joining forces at Breathe Bristol and holding a “Yoga in the Dark” event together to raise funds for RNIB. An experience for all the senses except one!
Although only a small number of blind people see absolutely nothing, the challenges often faced by those with sight loss can be huge. We’re organising this event because we’d like people to experience some of these challenges in a supportive environment in a both fun and inspiring way. During the classes the participants will be wearing blindfolds and lights may not be switched on.
Breathe Bristol is designed around community and well-being. It is a centre where a community of self-employed yoga teachers and therapists work from.
The Yoga in the Dark event starts on Saturday, 23rd March at 3pm at Breathe Bristol (20, Upper Maudlin Street, BS2 8DJ).
Line up:
3-3:45pm – Faye - Hatha Yoga
4-4:45pm – Rowan - Yin Yoga
5-5:45pm – Rebecca - Inner Awareness Hatha Flow
6-6:45pm – Eva - Kundalini Yoga for Self-Love
Take one or two classes and make a donation, or book yourself on to all and do it as a fundraiser. The classes are on a donation basis, but please give generously and help raise awareness and much needed funds for this charity! All proceeds go towards helping support RNIB.
