Scannappeal is a registered charity raising funds to support hospitals across Buckinghamshire.  Within the last two years alone they have funded a dedicated Breast Biopsy Suite at Wycombe hospital, and two state of the art MRI scanners. The equipment they fundraise for benefits many thousands of people within our local community, helping to provide more accurate diagnosis and treatment.  Most breast cancer patients also have surgery using specialised equipment bought by Scannappeal.

This year the charity is celebrating their 35^th anniversary and we have pledged our support to their ongoing fundraising mission by signing up for the Bucks Hospital Hike. On Saturday 10 September we will set off on a two day challenge which will see us covering a total of 50 miles, the equivalent of walking a marathon a day! The route will poignantly connect the three main hospitals in Bucks, Amersham, Stoke Mandeville and High Wycombe.
