Story
IMPORTANT: Sadly, due to the announcement from Virgin Money Giving that they are closing down from the 30th of November, I have made the tough decision to relocate the page to here on JustGiving, while all donations have already been sent to the charities, it does mean that donations are now not split 50/50, as there are two individual pages, so you do get to decide where to donate but it would much appreciated if you can keep them level! YOU CAN DONATE TO St Nicholas Hospice HERE:
Hi, I'm Brandon Studd, Many of you will most likely know me through different ways. With a strong passion for all things aviation; I am an RAF Cadet, Student Pilot (working towards my PPL) and aviation YouTube content creator as well as a full-time sixth form student. I hope this fundraiser brings all of these communities together for a good cause. My parents and Nan are actively helping me out with the preparation, so thanks to them, first of all!
I've never been on a skydive before so I'm cautiously excited to do it, I thought I would take this opportunity to raise money for some fantastic charities, one local and one national.
My local charity is St Nicholas Hospice. As a local hospice and the hospice's connection to my family, it was only natural to decide to support St Nicholas in this fashion. My late, Great-Uncle was greatly supported by St Nicholas in the final stages of his life after battling with cancer and the aggressive side-effects of his treatment, my loving Nan was also supported by the hospice during the process of losing her brother. The staff and hospice itself are a calming presence for many in West Suffolk and beyond.
My national charity is SSAFA - The Armed Forces Charity, with many close military ties in my family and beyond it felt right to support SSAFA. It is a sad truth that veterans lack the support they need after fighting for our country SSAFA set to change this. Helping servicemen and servicewomen back onto 'civvy street' and supporting their families in times of need. Every donation really does make a difference.
