Story

To hit our fundraising targets for SCOPE we are taking the London marathon back to its Flora(l) roots and attempting to break the world record for a marathon run as 3D Flowers. The two bud(dies) have chosen to dress as sunflowers as they never fail to bring a smile to peoples faces and they'll help us be leaf in ourselves.

Some may think we're potty daftodils, others that we're pollen their legs but we are serious about hitting our targets before we kick the bouquet - so please make our daysies and sponsor us if you are able to. You may not be interested in flowers or ridiculous puns but now we've planted a few seeds weed hoped to start growing on you. We love to bike and swim too but wanted to prove we're more than one trick peonies, if you see us out training come along and say Aloe!

There are almost 14 million disabled people in the UK, that’s one in five of us. Life is harder when you’re disabled. You're twice as likely to be unemployed, getting care is a struggle and the cost of living is higher. It’s wrong. So we are fundraising for Scope to create a fairer society. And we won’t stop until we have everyday equality. At home, at school, at work and in our communities. Together we’ll challenge stigma and end the injustice. Join us in making this happen. Let’s end disability inequality, today.

Many thanks and best wishes
