Trek Peru 2008 - My fellow trekkers and I will be arriving in Cusco, South America on 6th September, donning our hiking boots and back packs and heading for the hills!  For six days we will be trekking more than eight hours a day (ouch!) and camping in the Peruvian mountains with altitudes of over 4,500 metres.

Seriously though, I'm doing this to raise money for women, men and their families across the UK that are affected by breast cancer.  Your money goes towards providing information, practical assistance and emotional support to these people and when you think that Breast Cancer Care responds to over 2 million requests every year, I hope you will agree, it's a really worthwhile cause.

One shocking statistic I have learnt since taking on 'Trekl Peru 2008' is that every 13 minutes someone recieves the devestating news that theyhave breast cancer...
